What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Improve developer velocity and operational excellence by automating CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.
• Create technical designs that address cost efficiency, security, and observability.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and mitigate production issues.
• Collaborate across teams to drive medium to large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
• Mentor teammates and participate in the interview process for new hires.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Extensive experience with distributed systems and stateless/fault-tolerant architectures.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, GCP (or AWS/Azure), and Terraform.
• Data-oriented mindset with a track record of making decisions based on concrete metrics.
• Experience with eventing patterns and agentic tooling for production monitoring.
• Ability to weigh technical and business trade-offs in forward-thinking designs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm, Docker, ArgoCD, and CircleCI.
• Proficiency with DataDog for observability.
• Familiarity with GraphQL ecosystems.
