TL;DR
Senior Data & Analytics Engineer (Databricks/Power BI): Building and owning a product-grade data platform and BI layer for sustainable inflight service management with an accent on scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and semantic modeling. Focus on migrating vendor-built solutions to a modern lakehouse architecture and generating actionable customer insights to reduce CO2 emissions.
Location: Remote (Must be based in Europe)

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end data platform using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric, designing scalable pipelines and lakehouse architecture.
- Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, KPIs, and customer-facing embedded analytics.
- Translate business and customer needs into scalable data products and actionable insights.
- Implement CI/CD, testing, and versioning for data pipelines and BI assets.
- Reverse-engineer and migrate vendor-built BI solutions to a clean, modular internal architecture.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability through validation scripts and monitoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data or analytics engineering for customer-facing BI products.
- Proven track record in SaaS or product-driven environments.
- Expertise in Databricks (Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake) and Microsoft Fabric or Azure data stack.
- Advanced SQL and dimensional modeling (Kimball) skills.
- Experience with Power BI, including DAX and performance optimization.
- English: C1 level required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Azure infrastructure (IAM, networking).
- Experience with data quality/testing frameworks such as Great Expectations.
