What you will do

• Provide strategic input to guide the creation of clinically relevant educational content to reach brand objectives.
• Perform independent scientific content development, including analysis and interpretation of clinical data.
• Conduct literature searches and proactively monitor the competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with copy, art, and digital teams to produce engaging programs using scientific storytelling and data visualization.
• Establish strong relationships with clients and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to create peer-to-peer educational content.
• Support medical and regulatory approval processes and incorporate feedback into final deliverables.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in a medical sciences related field.
• Minimum 2 years of medical writing experience.
• Experience in a pharma agency environment focusing on medical education, communications, or HCP marketing.
• Expertise in extracting relevant information from clinical sources to write medically accurate copy.
• Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations and AMA editorial style.
• Must be based in or able to work in Chicago, IL, USA.
