What you will do

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel to ensure accurate and efficient compounding of high-quality medications.
• Perform and document compounding procedures, quality control checks, and dispensing of preparations.
• Verify formula records, compounding records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, training manuals, and compliance measures for compounding labs.
• Coordinate equipment calibration and maintenance of the compounding environment.
• Conduct drug utilization reviews, patient counseling, and error documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist License in Arizona.
• 5+ years of pharmacist experience, with at least 3 years specifically in a compounding pharmacy.
• Experience in non-sterile compounding and strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing and wear required PPE (including respiratory protection) for long periods.
• Physical capability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
