What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and harden AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Support Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) infrastructure and core platform services.
• Automate infrastructure operations and configuration using Terraform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, and performance issues.
• Support platform security, compliance, ATO sustainment, and audit readiness.
• Design cloud infrastructure solutions and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust / suitability determination.
• 7+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
• Expert-level experience operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Deep command of systems administration, networking, containerization, and DevOps concepts.
• Expert-level knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).

Nice to have

• Prior experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 standards.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or Security+.
