What you will do

• Administer MongoDB Enterprise Advanced across production, staging, and sandbox environments.
• Manage performance through query optimization, index management, and capacity planning.
• Implement and maintain strict backup policies ensuring rapid recovery and data integrity.
• Operate secrets management using HashiCorp Vault and AWS Secrets Manager with automated rotation.
• Provision all MongoDB configurations through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Support the Scheduling Event Bus by providing data tier design for event-driven workloads integrating with Kafka.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience administering MongoDB Enterprise Advanced in production cloud environments.
• Active Federal Civilian Public Trust clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident (must have lived in the US for at least 3 years).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in managing MongoDB within containerized Kubernetes/EKS environments.

Nice to have

• MongoDB Certified DBA Associate certification.
