Product Strategy and Corporate Development Lead (AI)

Location: New York, New York, USA; hybrid workplace

Salary: $170,000–$227,000 USD yearly, plus equity and possible variable compensation

What you will do

• Analyze emerging AI technologies, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics to support product strategy.
• Source promising AI startups for acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities.
• Build relationships across the founder, venture capital, and broader AI ecosystem through events and industry engagement.
• Lead diligence, valuation, financial modeling, strategic assessment, and internal recommendation workstreams.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders on build, buy, and partner decisions aligned with the AI roadmap.
• Support term-sheet and partnership negotiations, post-deal integration planning, and the startup program.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge gained through software engineering, product management, venture capital, a Computer Science degree, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, or analysis, with willingness to develop further.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with founders, VCs, and AI ecosystem participants.
• Self-starter mindset and ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous, and technically challenging environments.
• Strong prioritization, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
