IT Risk Senior Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and oversee the Technology Risk framework, including policies, standards, and KRIs for governing bodies.
• Lead regulatory reporting and committee presentations on Cybersecurity and Technology Risk.
• Oversee root-cause analysis of high-materiality tech/cyber incidents and lead execution of crisis protocols.
• Review and challenge DRP design and BIA technology dependencies to ensure resilience.
• Challenge risk assessments for new products/architectures and drive remediation of material gaps.
• Design IT Third-Party Risk frameworks and advise Risk, Engineering, Security, and Data leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Risk Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT Risk Management.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and providers like AWS.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (cryptography, API security, network security) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization).
• Experience with risk management frameworks and methodologies to identify and assess risks.

Nice to have

• Proven experience in the fintech sector.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or ISO27001.
• Master's degree.
