Cyber Technical Architect (Cybersecurity): Designing and leading the modernization of enterprise cybersecurity architecture for the NIH with an accent on Zero Trust, NIST frameworks, and secure hybrid cloud environments. Location: Remote (Must be based in the US and hold/be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance)

What you will do

• Serve as a senior cybersecurity technical advisor to NIH leadership.
• Lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise cybersecurity architecture.
• Develop Zero Trust maturity roadmaps and identity-centric security models.
• Oversee security platform performance including SIEM, EDR, NGFW, DLP, and PAM.
• Conduct architecture reviews and develop technical recommendations for security investments.
• Mentor cybersecurity engineers and technical staff.

Requirements

• Public Trust Clearance required.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity engineering and architecture experience.
• Experience supporting Federal cybersecurity programs and implementing NIST frameworks.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Active certification: CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, GDSA, or GSE.
