What you will do

• Perform rework and repair of electronic units, including failure analysis and root cause determination.
• Carry out delicate prototype assembly of devices following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Execute electrical and mechanical assembly testing using calibrated measurement tools.
• Operate flash and calibration stations for prototype electronic devices.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot and implement process improvements.
• Document assembly processes and author operating instructions (SOPs).

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Sunnyvale, California (Onsite)
• Hand soldering skills with 0201 components required (01005 preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting and modifying circuit boards and small consumer electronics.
• Proficiency with PCBA and FPC hardware testing.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.
• Familiarity with Python and Android Device Bridge (ADB).

Nice to have

• Experience with computer programming.
• Familiarity with OrCAD/Allegro or other EE hardware design tools.
• Previous prototype or assembly line experience in small electronics.
