Compensation: £40,000 - £50,000 GBP (UK) or €45,000 - €55,000 EUR (IRE)

What you will do

• Manage illustrated nonfiction travel and gift titles from initial concept through to final publication.
• Develop new book and product ideas based on thorough research of publishing and consumer trends.
• Commission and manage diverse contributors, including writers, illustrators, photographers, and designers.
• Review manuscripts, image selections, and proofs to ensure adherence to house style and quality standards.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare editorial materials for sales and marketing, such as catalogs and sales kits.

Requirements

• 4+ years of editorial experience in publishing or a closely related environment.
• Proven experience working on illustrated nonfiction projects.
• Strong editorial judgment and a sharp eye for structure, tone, and detail.
• Advanced project management skills with a deadline-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of end-to-end publishing workflows, from concept to print.
• Must be based remotely in Ireland or the United Kingdom.
