What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and release of new Android features from concept through delivery.
• Architect scalable, maintainable Android codebases using modern tools and frameworks.
• Build systems, APIs, and functionality powering high-quality mobile applications for a global customer base.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data analysts to define technical requirements.
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical growth and adherence to high coding standards.
• Maintain code quality through testing, code reviews, and proactive performance optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of professional Android development experience with proven success leading projects or teams.
• Expert proficiency in Kotlin and strong understanding of Android SDKs and architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture).
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and Jetpack libraries.
• Strong background in API integration, asynchronous programming (coroutines, flows, RxJava/RxKotlin), and performance optimization.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redux or functional programming.
• Exposure to JavaScript and React.
