Salary: $199,800 - $244,200

What you will do

• Partner with product and design teams to define, spec, and build new features.
• Develop and refine systems that source, match, and surface financial offers to users.
• Work across the stack, contributing to Android, iOS, and backend services as needed.
• Utilize AI coding tools and agents to accelerate development and cross-stack iteration.
• Design and instrument A/B tests to validate product impact and optimize user retention.
• Act as a tech lead, owning projects end-to-end and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of industry experience building and maintaining mobile applications at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Deep understanding of Android UI frameworks, including XML and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and Git workflows.
• Product mindset with the ability to translate customer pain points into technical specs.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Vancouver, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile analytics and experimentation tools like Amplitude.
• Familiarity with iOS or backend development.
• Knowledge of identity verification and authentication protocols.
