What you will do

• Manage complex Professional Lines claims, primarily focusing on Errors & Omissions (E&O), from intake through resolution.
• Apply knowledge of Commercial General Liability (CGL) to support multi-line claims and identify overlapping exposures.
• Lead negotiations, manage litigation, mediations, and trials while directing legal counsel.
• Maintain detailed file documentation, including diary management and reserve updates.
• Communicate proactively with brokers, insureds, counsel, and internal business partners.
• Identify and report trends, emerging issues, and loss patterns to management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of claims handling experience in Professional Liability, E&O, and/or CGL.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• University degree preferred.
• CIP designation or active progress toward completion.

Nice to have

• Property claims experience.
• Bilingualism in French and English.
