What you will do

• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models using 2D and 3D CT data for customer inspection use cases.
• Manage the full model lifecycle, including data preparation, feature design, training, evaluation, deployment, and retraining.
• Scope customer ML deliverables, define success criteria, and communicate progress with Project Managers.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Software Engineering to translate customer needs into platform capabilities.
• Contribute to internal AI/ML strategy, including model evaluation standards and governance for regulated industries.
• Produce technical documentation, validation memos, and customer-facing reports.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience with depth in applied computer vision on image or volumetric data.
• Hands-on experience taking ML models into production, including MLOps (deployment, monitoring, retraining).
• Experience translating business and engineering problems into ML solutions for non-ML stakeholders.
• Comfort working in engineering and manufacturing environments, including on the production floor.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting to technical and executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%, primarily to customer sites.

Nice to have

• Background in industrial CT, 3D data computer vision, or NDT and inspection workflows.
• Prior experience in Application, Solutions, or Forward Deployed Engineering roles.
• Familiarity with manufacturing data systems like MES, SPC, or PLM.
• Domain experience in medical devices, aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, or batteries.
