📋 Description
- Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for backend systems.
- Lead hands-on development; own critical code paths and code quality.
- Own design decisions for domain; design data models and high-performance access.
- Partner with Product, Security, SRE, and DevOps to define APIs.
- Own backend reliability and performance; define SLOs and observability.
- Champion security and compliance, PCI DSS, PII, and secure-by-default patterns.
🎯 Requirements
- 10+ years backend software development; leads across distributed systems.
- Led platform-building end-to-end from design to production rollout.
- Proficient in C# and .NET.
- Strong AWS (or Azure) cloud, Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- SQL and NoSQL databases; schema design and scaling.
- Experience with AI tooling and AI-assisted development.
- Excellent communicator; design docs, RFCs, postmortems.
