LiveOps Game Designer (AI)

Location: Fully remote for candidates living in Germany; valid visa required

hirify.global develops and self-publishes data-driven live-service strategy games, including Goodgame Empire and Empire: Four Kingdoms.

What you will do

• Design new and rework existing game features and systems to improve key game metrics.
• Propose improvements based on game vision, player feedback, data analysis, and business goals.
• Create pitch presentations, wireframes, and design documentation.
• Use AI tools in daily game design work to increase output.
• Transfer and adapt successful mechanics from different game genres.
• Collaborate with the Empire Family Team on current and future franchise titles.

Requirements

• Must have proven experience and solid knowledge of 4X strategy games, simulation games, or other complex titles.
• Experience in game design, game balancing, or product management for free-to-play games.
• Good understanding of LiveOps dynamics, monetization strategies, in-game economies, and player behavior.
• Ownership mindset and a cost-benefit-oriented approach to execution.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Must be based in Germany and hold a valid visa.
