TL;DR

hirify.global is an independent gaming studio developing OneState, an innovative mobile life simulator built in Unity.

What you will do

  • Research and prototype new rendering and graphics technologies to integrate effective solutions into the production pipeline.
  • Identify and eliminate CPU, GPU, and memory bottlenecks using Unity Profiler, Frame Debugger, Memory Profiler, and external tools.
  • Optimize build size and monitor RAM usage by configuring Addressables and Asset Bundles.
  • Review and validate new scenes and assets created by artists to ensure they meet technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with artists and graphics programmers to balance visual quality and technical performance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices for the art team.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Technical Artist with strong knowledge of Unity, SRP/URP, and Addressables/Asset Bundles.
  • Solid understanding of mobile rendering, mobile GPU architecture, and graphics APIs.
  • Proven experience in profiling and resolving performance bottlenecks such as CPU spikes and memory leaks.
  • Ability to prototype and build Vertex and Fragment shaders.
  • Deep understanding of the 3D asset creation pipeline and optimization techniques without loss of quality.

Nice to have

  • Experience writing and optimizing shaders in HLSL.
  • Proficiency in C# for developing Unity Editor tools and utilities.
  • Experience with external profiling tools like Xcode, ARM Streamline, or RenderDoc.
  • Hands-on experience with Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, or Substance Designer.
