Senior ECAD / PCB Design Engineer (Automotive): Developing complex PCB designs for automotive electronics, including ECUs, high-voltage power electronics, and BMS with an accent on Mentor Xpedition layout and SI/PI simulations. Focus on ensuring EMI/EMC compliance, optimizing signal/power integrity, and delivering production-ready hardware for eMobility solutions.
Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in the client’s office in Kraków, Poland)
Salary: 1000 - 1440 PLN / Day net + vat (B2B)

What you will do
- Lead schematic capture and PCB layout activities using Mentor Xpedition for automotive electronic products.
- Design PCBs for ECUs, 48V converters, high-voltage power electronics (inverters, OBC, DC/DC), and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Perform SI/PI simulations using Hyperlynx to optimize signal and power integrity.
- Create and release technical PCB documentation within Team Center.
- Ensure compliance with electrical, thermal, mechanical, and manufacturability constraints, focusing on creepage/clearance and HV safety.
- Collaborate with hardware, MCAD, and manufacturing teams to support prototype builds and design reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong experience in PCB design for EMI/EMC compliance.
- Proficiency in Mentor Xpedition and simulation tools.
- English: Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid (3 days/week) in Kraków, Poland.
