What you will do

• Build and manage a high-performance proxy tier handling billions of HTTP requests daily.
• Oversee the global CDN platform to ensure efficient asset delivery to clients' browsers.
• Collaborate with a specialized team of engineers to ship production-ready code and improve user experience.
• Design and implement complex deployment plans and long-term architectural decisions.
• Implement DevOps best practices following the "build it, run it" philosophy.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ireland.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or production engineering for high-traffic, customer-facing distributed systems.
• 5+ years of expertise in edge technologies: HTTP, TLS, load balancing, Reverse Proxying, CDN, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with AWS or similar cloud computing platforms.

Nice to have

• Deep experience working within modern SaaS companies.
• Knowledge of caching and CDN solutions such as Cloudflare, CloudFront, or Fastly.
• Experience with cloud-based observability tools for metrics and traces.
• Ability or willingness to write code in Go.
