What you will do

• Design and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices focusing on performance and reliability.
• Implement Spring Boot applications using clean code, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize applications and integrate CI/CD pipelines.
• Build robust asynchronous systems using event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka.
• Design efficient relational database integrations to ensure data integrity and responsiveness.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development using Java 8+.
• Fullstack proficiency across backend and frontend technologies (Angular or React).
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring framework ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful microservices and optimized SQL queries.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Must be based in Romania.
• Strong English communication skills.
