What you will do

• Define and execute the technical strategy for a scalable AI-Ready data platform.
• Create reference architectures and modeling standards including medallion and lakehouse patterns.
• Oversee key platform projects such as schema modernization and data layer re-architecture.
• Mentor development teams and foster a culture of high-standard data engineering.
• Collaborate with security and product teams to define data governance, classification, and access controls.
• Provide blueprints and reference implementations to enable team adoption of the AI-Ready platform.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development and data engineering, with 5+ years in senior technical leadership.
• Demonstrated experience architecting data for AI workflows including RAG, vector-based retrieval, and agentic systems.
• Strong familiarity with AI platform integration patterns and LLM observability tools.
• Expertise in cloud-native data platforms on AWS, including lakehouse patterns and distributed processing.
• Hands-on experience with core data technologies like MongoDB, SQL Server, and event streaming.
• Proven ability to set engineering standards and influence technical direction across multiple teams.
