TL;DR

Marketing & Commercial Strategy Manager (Telecoms): Defining long-term strategic direction and translating it into actionable plans for the consumer business with an accent on growth, pricing, and distribution. Focus on shaping 2-5 year roadmaps, optimizing commercial outcomes through data-led decision making, and aligning cross-functional teams.

Location: Must be based in Birmingham, Bristol, or London (UK). Hybrid model: 3 days at contractual location, 2 flexible days per week.

What you will do

  • Develop long-term marketing and commercial strategies to drive customer growth and value.
  • Use data, insight, and performance analysis to identify opportunities and optimize risks.
  • Translate high-level strategy into actionable plans for pricing, distribution, and go-to-market activities.
  • Maintain and manage a cohesive roadmap of strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment.
  • Track the delivery and performance of initiatives to ensure ROI.

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial or business strategy roles with a focus on strategic planning.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to drive data-led decision making.
  • Proven ability to structure complex problems and influence stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Must be based in the UK to support the 3-together, 2-wherever working model.

Nice to have

  • Experience in telecoms, subscription, or multi-channel consumer businesses.
  • Exposure to pricing, distribution, or multi-brand strategy.
  • Background in management consulting or highly strategic roles.
  • Experience working within large, complex matrix environments.
