TL;DR

Associate Mathematician (iGaming): Designing and proving mathematical models for gaming products with an accent on gaming probabilities and mathematical returns. Focus on developing simulations in C++/C#/Python, collaborating with game designers and engineers to ensure correct implementation of math models.

Location: On-site in Reno, NV (5 days a week)

What you will do

• Develop proof of concept and feasible math models for gaming products.
• Generate math models to demonstrate gaming probabilities and returns via theoretical calculations and simulations.
• Contribute to the game design and invention process.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure correct implementation of math models.
• Provide computer simulation and analysis for both new and existing models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related scientific field.
• 1-2 years of experience in applied mathematics, probability, or combinatorics.
• 1-2 years of experience with C++, C#, Python, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Reno, NV.
• Knowledge of software development, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Visual Studio.
