What you will do

• Design and implement high-performance core engine systems.
• Conduct research to improve existing code base efficiency and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, animators, and artists.
• Perform memory budgeting, performance analysis, and optimization.
• Review engineering work and provide technical mentorship to the team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of systems or engine development experience.
• Proven track record of contributing to one or more shipped games.
• Deep expertise in C++ programming and practices.
• Strong experience architecting and debugging threaded systems.
• Excellent debugging and performance analysis skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to have

• Strong 3D math and algebra skills.
• Experience contributing to a bespoke internal game engine.
• Knowledge of asset pipelines, runtime memory, and streaming technology.
• Experience with game networking techniques.
• Multi-platform development experience (PC, Xbox, PlayStation).
