What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain core infrastructure services including virtualization (Harvester, KVM) and storage (NetApp, Longhorn).
• Develop and manage Cloud Landing Zones across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, and Salt via CI/CD and GitOps pipelines.
• Create reliable self-service mechanisms for internal teams to consume compute and storage resources.
• Lead cross-functional teams to analyze complex requirements, design multi-team solutions, and mentor others.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Linux system administration and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with KVM, Harvester (KubeVirt), and enterprise/cloud-native storage solutions.
• Proficiency in IaC and GitOps practices with knowledge of the Rancher ecosystem.
• Experience operating workloads on-premises and in at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ability to script in Go, Python, Ruby, or Rust with solid software development and Git skills.
• Must be based in Italy or the EMEA region.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CNCF tooling.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
