Vice President, General Manager - Autonomous and Underwater Systems (AUS) (Defense)

TL;DR

Vice President, General Manager (Autonomous and Underwater Systems): Leading the strategic direction, P&L, and growth of the Naval portfolio with an accent on Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) and maritime autonomy. What you will do

• Direct the overall performance and long-term growth of the Autonomous and Underwater Systems (AUS) division.
• Manage local P&L and align US operations with global Naval business objectives.
• Oversee the construction, industrialization, and recruitment for new manufacturing and engineering facilities.
• Develop and execute a long-term US growth strategy for unmanned systems to deliver differentiated value in niche markets.
• Lead and motivate a team of managers and employees, fostering a culture of operational excellence and accountability.
• Represent the hirify.global brand in political, community, and industrial engagements as the senior local executive.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory; must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree is desirable.
• 20+ years of progressive leadership experience leading mid-to-large size organizations in the defense or marine autonomy industry.
• Proven track record of growing business within U.S. Defense markets and strong customer networks.
• Prior experience establishing new manufacturing operations within an A&D environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team.
