AI Operations Engineer (Python)

AI Operations Engineer (Python): Maintaining and optimizing autonomous AI systems and multi-agent architectures with an accent on reliability, security, and observability. Location: Hybrid (2 days in office per week). Must be based in the UK (Osterley or Livingston offices); no sponsorship is provided.

What you will do

• Maintain the reliability, security, and performance of agentic and multi-agent AI solutions in production.
• Act as the primary point of contact for triaging, diagnosing, and resolving AI system incidents.
• Implement monitoring and observability to track AI-specific health signals, prompt regressions, and guardrail failures.
• Manage FinOps for AI workloads by optimizing the cost of LLM usage and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and improve infrastructure across a stack including Python, AWS, Postgres, Kubernetes, and Cloud Foundry.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with agentic AI governance standards.

Requirements

• Solid software engineering experience in Python within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience operating production systems with strong monitoring, observability, and distributed systems diagnosis skills.
• Practical experience with AWS, relational databases (Postgres), and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Cloud Foundry).
• Direct experience configuring and troubleshooting low-code automation in Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK is required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to LLM or agentic AI systems.
• Experience with FinOps cost management.
• Knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI controls.
