Anti-Piracy Digital Forensic Investigator (Cybersecurity): Protecting high-value content by identifying, analyzing, and disrupting digital piracy activities with an accent on digital forensics and incident response (DFIR). Location: Hybrid (London), 3 days in the office per week. Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.

What you will do

• Conduct advanced digital forensic and incident response (DFIR) activities, including the acquisition and analysis of evidence from endpoints, servers, and network environments.
• Support investigations to attribute piracy activity to specific individuals or organized groups using forensic techniques.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and law enforcement to deliver effective legal and operational outcomes.
• Document findings to evidential standards and produce clear investigation reports and formal statements for criminal and civil proceedings.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of DFIR capabilities, tools, and methodologies within the Osterley-based team.

Requirements

• At least three years’ experience of digital forensic analysis of computers and mobile devices.
• Industry standard certifications such as EnCE, MCFE, Cellebrite, ACE, GNFA, GBFA, or GCFE.
• Working knowledge of ISO 17025 standards and experience in accredited laboratories.
• Excellent knowledge of digital hardware, file systems, and operating system artefacts.
• Knowledge of Criminal Justice system requirements (PACE, CPIA, DPA, RIPA) and evidence continuity rules.
• Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience in DFIR across corporate, law enforcement, or consultancy environments.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS) and the ability to analyze network traffic and logs.
• Hands-on experience investigating Windows and Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, and network analysis tools like Wireshark.
