What you will do

• Implement practical data governance capabilities embedded within an SHV Group to improve day-to-day operations.
• Identify priority data domains, stakeholders, and governance gaps in collaboration with business and IT teams.
• Define and document roles and responsibilities, including data owners, stewards, and custodians.
• Establish routines for data quality management, issue resolution, access governance, and metadata documentation.
• Facilitate alignment workshops with business and technical stakeholders to define rules and decision-making processes.
• Translate governance learnings into reusable templates, playbooks, and accelerators for other SHV companies.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or business analysis.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems and document complex processes.
• Strong communication skills and experience facilitating workshops for diverse audiences.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across both business and IT functions.
• Solid understanding of data quality, metadata, and access management processes.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Porto, Portugal, with regular travel to SHV companies.

Nice to have

• Experience with DAMA-DMBOK or CDMP frameworks.
• Proficiency with governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or Microsoft Purview.
• Domain expertise in ESG, Finance, HR, or Supply Chain.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, BI tools, or data platforms.
