What you will do

• Audit electronically submitted legal fee and expense invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Verify adherence to legal billing guidelines by law firms and vendors.
• Validate UTBMS task codes (Fee, Activity, and Expense) applied to invoice line items.
• Document justifications for invoice adjustments based on violated billing guidelines.
• Collaborate with Legal Invoice and Quality Assurance Analysts to calibrate auditing decisions.
• Provide guidance to business unit partners on LBA process opportunities and issues.

Requirements

• Must be based in Minneapolis, MN.
• 2+ years of experience in legal services or legal auditing.
• Proficiency in legal billing processes and federal/state rules of civil procedure.
• Paralegal Certification or a Bachelor’s degree in a legal-related discipline.
• Strong command of English grammar, syntax, and style.
