DevOps Engineer- Late Shift(2 PM - 10PM) (Python, Terraform)

Location: Hybrid (United Kingdom). Requires 2 days working from the office and 3 days of remote work per week.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks in Python to enable consistent deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Build Terraform code-generation platforms using Python and Jinja2 to produce validated, environment-specific infrastructure code.
• Develop and maintain Puppet modules, manifests, and Hiera configurations for Linux and Windows environments at scale.
• Create robust PowerShell automation for Windows Server management, Active Directory administration, and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) to automate validation and deployment.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies for infrastructure code, including unit testing, linting, and integration testing.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom to support the hybrid work model.
• 5+ years of structured Python development experience focusing on testable application code rather than simple scripting.
• Strong Terraform proficiency, including module design, state management, and programmatic HCL generation using Jinja2.
• Hands-on experience with Puppet for managing mixed Linux and Windows environments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Windows Server administration and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Solid experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
