AWS Cloud Partner Solutions Architect (AWS): Leading the technical alliance between AWS and Databricks across EMEA to drive platform adoption and consumption with an accent on partner enablement and reference architectures. Focus on scaling the SME community, resolving complex multicloud architectural conflicts, and aligning with senior AWS leadership.

Location: Berlin or Munich, Germany. This role requires up to 40% travel across EMEA.

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for the AWS field in EMEA to drive pipeline and consumption growth.
• Convene and grow the cross-EMEA group of AWS-deep Solutions Architects to scale technical delivery.
• Execute partner enablement at scale through training, workshops, and the AWS Field Engineering Playbook.
• Develop joint product contributions and reference architectures, including Marketplace QuickLaunch and Bedrock automation.
• Lead technical arbitration in strategic multicloud accounts to resolve blockers and swing high-value ARR.
• Represent the technical voice of the alliance at AWS Summits, DAIS, and Re:Invent EMEA.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a data professional in a modern, cloud-based data stack.
• Deep technical expertise in AWS services including PrivateLink, VPC Lattice, IAM, CloudFormation, and Amazon Bedrock.
• At least 3 years of technical pre-sales experience within a consumption business model.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end data architectures for Big Data, Data Warehousing, and AI on MPP platforms.
• Must be based in Berlin or Munich, Germany.
