What you will do

• Lead the design of generative and agentic AI systems using Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and AWS Strands Agents.
• Architect advanced RAG and multi-agent orchestration leveraging AWS-native services like Lambda, Step Functions, and OpenSearch.
• Develop AWS reference architectures, architecture decision records (ADRs), and implementation roadmaps for strategic clients.
• Validate technical feasibility through hands-on prototyping in Python using Bedrock SDKs and SageMaker.
• Establish MLOps best practices on AWS, including model lifecycle management and observability using CloudWatch and AWS Config.
• Provide architectural oversight and mentorship to Forward Deployed Engineers and delivery teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 7–10+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud architecture with deep AWS ownership.
• Deep expertise in Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and related AWS AI services.
• Proficiency in Python and Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and serverless patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• AWS Specialty certifications in Machine Learning or Security.
• Experience with advanced agentic reasoning patterns like ReAct, CoT, or Tree-of-Thoughts.
• Experience building secure multi-account AWS organizations using Control Tower.
• Exposure to data engineering services such as Glue, Redshift, or Lake Formation.
• Previous background in consulting or professional services.
