What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain complex software features and services primarily using Go.
• Own the full development lifecycle from technical design and implementation to production support and defect resolution.
• Lead the delivery of complex features, managing technical risks and ensuring high-quality execution.
• Contribute to architecture discussions to improve system structure, maintainability, and operational resilience.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and improve team development practices through better tooling and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in peer reviews and utilize AI-assisted tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.

Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in the UK without employer sponsorship.
• 5-8 years of commercial software engineering experience with strong practical expertise in Go.
• Experience building and maintaining backend services.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with production-level debugging and operational support.
• Ability to own and deliver well-defined feature work independently.

• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
