Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Go)

What you will do

• Design and build scalable software applications in Go.
• Develop and operate distributed lending-platform components, including credit risk, user profiles, credit limits and offers, lender journeys, and pricing engines.
• Lead architectural planning, coding standards, feature design, and delivery across the software development life cycle.
• Automate repetitive tasks using appropriate tools and scripting.
• Review code, troubleshoot and debug complex issues, upgrade existing software, and apply security best practices.
• Mentor junior software engineers and collaborate with multiple teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Go for developing and enhancing software applications.
• Experience designing scalable and maintainable architectures.
• Experience with the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with automation, scripting, code reviews, complex problem-solving, and secure coding practices.
• Experience guiding junior engineers and collaborating with multiple teams.
