What you will do

  • Perform calculations and design basic to advanced engineering systems independently.
  • Prepare mechanical system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
  • Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
  • Research and recommend the feasibility of systems and evaluate products for application.
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with strategic partners to support business development.
  • Coordinate project scope, schedules, and quality delivery, including attending client meetings.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, or Architectural Engineering preferred.
  • Mid Level: 3+ years of relevant experience (or 5 years without a degree).
  • Experienced Level: 7+ years of relevant experience (or 9 years without a degree).
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software such as IESVE or Trane Trace.

Nice to have

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Completion of FE exam, LEED, and/or WELL accreditation.
  • Advanced knowledge of A&E industry codes, design guides, and standards.
