Product Performance Engineer Intern (AI/ML)

Location: Onsite in Wuxi, China

hirify.global develops precision-engineered data storage solutions and operates a large-scale manufacturing site in Wuxi.

What you will do

• Develop big data analytics and AI/ML tools for Hard Disk Drive manufacturing data.
• Research methods for early detection of incoming and assembly issues.
• Build outgoing quality prediction models to reduce DPPM and production excursions.
• Work with the IT-FIS team to deploy analytics and new designs into factory IT systems for real-time production use.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or big data analytics.
• Knowledge and experience with big data, machine learning, statistics, and algorithms.
• Experience with Python or Java development.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin are required.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and collaborate in a cross-functional team.

Nice to have

• AI/ML project development experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.
