Data Engineer / AI Engineer

Location: Shanghai, China — onsite at the hirify.global Minhang Office

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines with Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, and SQL.
• Integrate data from SAP, Oracle, and other enterprise business systems.
• Build and maintain data models, data platforms, analytics datasets, dashboards, and reports.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance while supporting KPI tracking and operational monitoring.
• Develop and deploy machine learning, Generative AI, LLM, AI-agent, and Copilot solutions for prediction, optimization, automation, and decision support.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable data and AI products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or AI/ML development.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, SQL, data modeling, enterprise data pipelines, and data platforms.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions.
• Basic knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, or Copilot technologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a global environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Azure, or supply chain and logistics systems.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of machine learning operations and AI solution deployment.
