External Communication Specialist (Insurance)

What you will do

• Develop and execute integrated communication plans to enhance brand reputation among clients, partners, and regulators.
• Manage media relations by building strong ties with journalists and editors to generate high-quality earned media coverage.
• Create and localize external content, including press releases, executive talking points, and opinion pieces.
• Drive executive visibility through speaking opportunities and thought leadership campaigns in financial resilience and sustainability.
• Monitor media sentiment and manage reputation risks through timely messaging and crisis communication.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Legal, HR, Marketing) and regional teams to ensure messaging alignment.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in external communications or corporate PR.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
• Established network of media relationships within the Indonesian business and financial landscape.
• Proven track record in executive profiling and corporate storytelling.
