Software Engineer (Application)

Location: Tainan City, Taiwan. The role requires 50% domestic or 10–30% international travel.

What you will do

• Install, upgrade, and provide technical support for KD products.
• Manage beta and evaluation product adoption at customer sites.
• Support headquarters and local business units in achieving business goals.
• Administer application environments across Windows, UNIX/Linux, containers, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Use programming and database expertise to troubleshoot and support product deployments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in defect system administration.
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows and understanding of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Understanding of containers, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
• Programming skills in C, C#, Python, or Shell.
• Oracle database knowledge, including administration and PL/SQL.
• Strong software documentation, problem-solving, and project management skills.
