What you will do

• Coordinate and manage weekly employee payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with outsourced payroll providers and internal teams to manage data flow and resolve issues.
• Review payroll outputs and resolve discrepancies before final approvals.
• Manage weekly contractor payroll processes, including reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate employee data and payroll settings across multiple systems.
• Handle the setup of new starters in payroll and financial systems.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in a payroll position, ideally in an outsourced environment.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand payroll and employment legislation.
• Experience working across multiple payroll systems.
• High level of organization and detail orientation with strong accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with regular deadlines.
• Reliability and comfort handling highly confidential information.
