What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data models (star, snowflake) to support business intelligence and machine learning.
• Build and maintain batch and streaming ETL pipelines from ingestion to transformation and delivery.
• Ensure and promote a Single Source of Truth (SSOT) across data layers and pipelines.
• Contribute to data governance strategies, including data quality, stewardship, and privacy.
• Collaborate with Data Platform Engineers and Product Managers to resolve data issues and optimize workflows.
• Explore and implement practical integrations between data engineering and AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Maths, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience designing ETL pipelines using tools like Informatica, Talend, or Apache NiFi.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery and Airflow.
• Must be located in San Francisco to work from the collaborative open office space.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with globally distributed teams.
