What you will do

• Build and maintain automated data pipelines pulling information from payment systems and ERP into the finance data warehouse.
• Automate manual data reconciliation, transaction matching, and report generation using Python, SQL, and AI-assisted coding.
• Architect finance tables in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) to establish a single source of truth for company metrics.
• Design live, self-updating dashboards tracking company performance, margins, and burn rates.
• Develop automated forecasting models that integrate with current infrastructure and leverage AI agents.
• Act as the technical lead within the FP&A team, upskilling colleagues in automation tools and data literacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Finance, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, financial planning, or systems accounting in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Expert-level SQL and Python skills, including experience with AI-assisted coding (e.g., LLMs, Cursor).
• Strong understanding of financial logic and the ability to perform deep-dive data integrity checks.
• Experience building and maintaining data models within cloud data warehouses like Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Proven track record of designing automated dashboards and real-time reporting suites that drive business decisions.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool) and version control (Git) in a fintech context.
• Background in Fintech or high-growth SaaS with exposure to multi-currency settlements.
• Experience structuring large datasets for IPO-level audits or sophisticated forecasting.
