What you will do

• Automate manual steps in the month-end close to increase efficiency and reduce cycle time.
• Design and shape the financial data architecture to serve as the foundation for finance operations.
• Develop and maintain critical dashboards for P&L, balance sheets, and key KPIs.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues across finance source systems to ensure data integrity.
• Act as the primary link between product, tech, and accounting teams, translating financial needs into technical requirements.
• Utilize AI tools like Claude to rethink and overhaul monthly close and reporting processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role with a strong data foundation.
• Solid hands-on skills in SQL and Python for extracting, transforming, and modelling data.
• Ability to navigate and improve imperfect, evolving datasets.
• Comfort with finance concepts and a willingness to deepen domain knowledge.
• Curiosity about AI and excitement to use LLM tools for process improvement.
• Must be based in Copenhagen, Denmark, as the role requires 4 days of office presence per week.
