Technical Implementation Manager (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco or New York, United States; 3 days in the office

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 annual base pay, plus potential equity and bonus

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex client integrations for payments and financial products, from scoping through launch.
• Translate business requirements and solution designs into delivery plans, operating rhythms, timelines, and execution strategies.
• Manage communication, risks, dependencies, testing, certification, pilots, and launch activities across internal and external workstreams.
• Coordinate sales, solutions engineering, product, engineering, operations, legal, compliance, privacy, risk, finance, and support stakeholders.
• Prioritize integration requirements with product and engineering teams while managing roadmap constraints and client commitments.
• Track delivery metrics and lead post-launch reviews to improve integration playbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of product delivery management or project management experience with complex technology or financial services implementations.
• 5+ years of professional services or client-facing delivery experience in consulting, systems integration, or enterprise implementation.
• Experience with global payment products or technology-led business solutions and translating product capabilities into partner integration plans.
• Experience delivering cross-functional projects with technical teams, operations, and C-level stakeholders.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, steering-meeting, and decision-influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Large-scale partner integration experience in fintech, payments, card schemes, payment gateways, global acquiring, or embedded finance.
• Experience working with integration engineers, solution architects, or technical program managers on API-based integrations.
• Project management or agile certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master.
• Enterprise or strategic account management experience.
• Experience operating effectively in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
