What you will do

• Design and build major components of a custom, scalable MES for manufacturing operations.
• Develop full-stack web applications with embedded AI/ML capabilities for operational intelligence.
• Create data pipelines and integration layers connecting enterprise systems like ERP and PLM with shop-floor equipment.
• Embed directly with operations users to define requirements and translate manufacturing processes into software.
• Implement modern manufacturing standards and patterns within a cloud-native, modular architecture.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams on cloud deployment, security compliance, and DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work and facility access.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for U.S. Government security clearance.
• Experience in full-stack software development and building scalable, modular systems.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, API design, and system integration.
• Ability to work directly with end-users to gather requirements and deliver iterative, high-impact solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial protocols such as OPC-UA or MQTT.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems standards like ISA-95.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies including robotics, computer vision, or digital twins.
• Experience building AI-native applications or leveraging LLMs in development workflows.
