What you will do

• Lead architecture across multiple PJ squads, defining reference architectures for collections, tax payments, and invoice issuance.
• Act as a cross-team technical leader in the Enterprises area, influencing end-to-end system design.
• Stay hands-on with the code, pairing with engineers and solving complex technical problems.
• Collaborate with product managers and senior stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business strategy.
• Ensure the reliability, observability, and maintainability of mission-critical business workflows.
• Mentor senior engineers to help them grow their architectural leadership and cross-team influence.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Staff-level engineer (IC7 or equivalent) with deep technical expertise.
• Proven track record of designing and evolving complex backend systems across multiple domains.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and ability to negotiate priorities with business leaders.
• Hands-on mindset with a passion for coding, reviews, and debugging.
• Must be based in Brazil.
• Full professional fluency in Portuguese is required.

Nice to have

• Experience building B2B or SMB tools, billing, invoicing, or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with the operational complexity of collections, tax, and invoicing domains.
