TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (São Paulo, Brazil). Must be available to work at the client's office twice a week.

What you will do

• Lead a team of engineers in building and maintaining mission-critical payment applications.
• Design and develop scalable Java-based microservices within cloud-native environments.
• Contribute to high-level architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance in production environments.

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Strong experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Developer leading teams.
• Solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerized environments.
• Experience with cloud-native applications and AWS.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like Cassandra.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pix or other real-time payment platforms.
• Experience with Alternative Payment Methods (APMs).
• Background in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments.
