Senior Fullstack Engineer (Svelte/Rust): Building a production-ready Svelte application and expanding desktop editor capabilities using Rust and Tauri with an accent on the intersection of high-performance web interfaces and native systems programming. Focus on migrating React demos to Svelte, implementing asynchronous IPC bridges, and managing virtual file systems in Rust.

Location: Work From Home 100% of the time, or come in to one of our global offices (e.g., Bucaramanga, Colombia)

What you will do

• Migrate an existing React-based proof-of-concept into a production-ready Svelte application.
• Develop a dual-target customer portal for both standard web browsers and embedded editor workspaces.
• Build a lightweight desktop application using Tauri and design asynchronous IPC bridges between the webview and Rust backend.
• Implement virtual/in-memory file systems and asynchronous, non-blocking Rust code using Tokio.
• Design modular and reusable UI components with Tailwind CSS and TypeScript.
• Author comprehensive tests using Svelte Testing Library, Vitest, Playwright, and Cargo test.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Svelte and Rust.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.
• Knowledge of Tauri or Electron architecture.
• Understanding of Asynchronous processing, IPC protocols, and Virtual File Systems.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
